The Tool Library is partnering up with the Erie County Department of Health to make lead paint encapsulation safe and accessible. Through our Lead Safe Tool Borrowing Program, participants who complete the free 6-hour Lead Safe Work Practices Training through the ECDOH will receive a free 1-year membership to The Tool Library. Membership will allow participants to borrow HEPA vacuums, a critical component of lead safe work. In addition, they will have access to lead-safe consumables, personal protective equipment, and an inventory of 5,000+ tools that can be used on their home improvement projects
